About Inspired Family Dental Care

With over two decades of experience, Dr. Schotthoefer is a married
mother of three and the proud owner of Inspired Family Dental Care in
Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. Her practice is situated in a charming
brick home at the corner of Mack and Fairholme, featuring
vintage-modern decor and state-of-the-art technology, including
digital x-rays.

Dr. Schotthoefer has completed advanced training with Spear Education,
equipping her to offer a wide range of services such as crowns, root
canals, veneers, Invisalign, and comprehensive preventative care. She
emphasizes a personalized approach to dentistry, stating, “It’s
important to me that the practice is welcoming and not stressful.
Dentistry doesn’t have to be stressful, and we use modern techniques
and 16 years of experience to make sure it’s not.” To enhance patient
comfort, the practice offers oral sedation and has nitrous oxide
available in every room.

Beyond her professional life, Dr. Schotthoefer is a former
professional dance instructor who now enjoys dancing around with her
children. She is an avid reader and loves spending time outdoors with
her family. Committed to her community, she often volunteers at her
children’s schools, sharing, “Yesterday I was the Lunch Mom! That was
a lot of fun.” Her infectious enthusiasm ensures that patients not
