With over two decades of experience, Dr. Schotthoefer is a married
mother of three and the proud owner of Inspired Family Dental Care in
Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. Her practice is situated in a charming
brick home at the corner of Mack and Fairholme, featuring
vintage-modern decor and state-of-the-art technology, including
digital x-rays.
Dr. Schotthoefer has completed advanced training with Spear Education,
equipping her to offer a wide range of services such as crowns, root
canals, veneers, Invisalign, and comprehensive preventative care. She
emphasizes a personalized approach to dentistry, stating, “It’s
important to me that the practice is welcoming and not stressful.
Dentistry doesn’t have to be stressful, and we use modern techniques
and 16 years of experience to make sure it’s not.” To enhance patient
comfort, the practice offers oral sedation and has nitrous oxide
available in every room.
Beyond her professional life, Dr. Schotthoefer is a former
professional dance instructor who now enjoys dancing around with her
children. She is an avid reader and loves spending time outdoors with
her family. Committed to her community, she often volunteers at her
children’s schools, sharing, “Yesterday I was the Lunch Mom! That was
a lot of fun.” Her infectious enthusiasm ensures that patients not
only receive top-notch dental care but also leave with a smile.

With a background in dentistry spanning 4 years and 7 years in administrative roles, she excels at creating a warm, welcoming experience for every patient. Her favorite part of the job? Getting to talk with people and build connections every day.
Originally from Eastpointe, Michigan, Autumn also spent part of her childhood in Texas. Outside of the office, she enjoys painting, participating in beauty pageants, and spending time with her beloved cat. Her creativity and friendly energy make her a bright spot at Inspired Family Dental Care.
With nearly two decades of experience in dentistry, Katelyn is the welcoming face and steady hand that keeps our office running smoothly. As Office Manager, she’s passionate about patient education and takes pride in helping people understand and feel confident about their dental care.
Originally from Algonac, MI, Katelyn is a proud mom of five. When she’s not at the office, you’ll likely find her boating with her family, working in the garden, or cooking up something delicious at home. Her knowledge, warmth, and dedication make her an essential part of the Inspired Family Dental Care team.
Samantha has been a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist for over 12 years, bringing a gentle touch and a genuine passion for patient care to every appointment. Her favorite part of the job is building meaningful connections with patients and helping them feel at ease while improving their oral health.
Originally from Richmond, Michigan, Samantha is a proud mom of one and shares her home with two beloved cats. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring new places. Her kind nature and experience make her a valued member of the Inspired Family Dental Care team.
With a combined 20 years of experience in the dental field, Danielle brings both expertise and heart to every patient interaction. She began her career in oral surgery, where she worked for 14 years before transitioning into general dentistry—an area she’s now been passionate about for the last 6 years.
Originally from Eastpointe, Michigan, Danielle is a proud mom of two and is married to her high school sweetheart. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, relaxing at the beach, and antique shopping. Danielle’s favorite part of her role is connecting with people from all walks of life and making each patient feel comfortable and welcome in the chair.
